Vinyl LP record:
THE BUZZCOCKS "Singles Going Steady" (EMI EMC 3313) original UK 1979 stereo 1st pressing (white label)
ULTRA RARE TEST PRESS! Factory test pressing - two single-sided white label discs, in plain poly-lined inners with "25 SEP 1979" date stamps - and handwritten catalogue numbers. Only a handful of these would have been made for quality control purposes, how many exist today? Possible unique...
Obviously the earliest pressing that exists...confirmed by earliest 1G / 1G mother stampers (they don't come lower - 1 on the left side, G on the right (G being first letter in GRAMOPHLTD - so the equivalent of a 1)
Matrix: Disc one - SIDE A - UAK 30279 A-1U (BILBO) - with 1 G mother stamper (earliest possible - as you'd expect)
Matrix: Disc two - SIDE B - UAK 30279 B-1U (BILBO B'S TA1PE) - with 1 G mother stamper (earliest possible - as you'd expect)

CONDITION : M- (Sleeve/Record)
DESCRIPTION : The records both look unplayed (no spindle marks) - perfect. Labels perfect. The poly-lined sleeves show some general wear, as you'd expect from paper sleeves which haven't been stored in an outer cover. Obviously no cover exists, since these are for manufacturing proof use only. So, in incredible condition...
KEYWORDS : punk, post punk, DIY private press, KBD, new wave, no wave, minimal synth etc. etc.
PAYMENT : Buyer pays in UK pounds, cheque (in the UK), IMO or Paypal.
POSTAGE : Standard domestic or airmail postage: 12"s/LPs : £3.95 (UK), £6.50 (Europe) and £9.50 (Rest of World) / 7”s/CDs : £2.25 (UK), £3.25 (Europe) and £4.25 (Rest of World). Double vinyl counts as two etc. Each additional record charged at half price. Contact me for other postal options.
SMALL PRINT : I am first and foremost a collector, and grade strictly as I wish everyone would. Records will be well-packed between cardboard, and sent in record mailers. In the interests of the environment, these will be recycled whenever possible. Albums will be removed from outer sleeve to avoid seam splits in transit. All records are sent with a certificate of posting.
