Description
Dee Dee Warwick “Worth Every Tear I Cry” / “Lover’s Chant” (UK Mercury MF 909) original UK mono 7" vinyl single released in 1966.
“Worth Every Tear” was only ever issued on a 7” in the UK - hard to believe such a great tune didn’t get released across the states of America on a 45.
To be honest I can’t recall the last time I heard this played out anywhere.... No hang on I tell a lie - last time I DJ'd at Paul Harris' East Bowling Rare and Underplayed Soul Night in Bradford I gave this very copy a spin.
Hands up if you agree this needs a major revival! Come on DJ's get behind it. The sound clip says all you need to know....

Label: clean black paper with silver text; serated edge; original 3 prong centre fully intact - Excellent
Record: nice deep shine & gloss; numerous light surface marks (nothing serious) causes odd pop and click along the way – better than VG but just under VG+
Comes with plain white sleeve.
