Seldom scene ANDY WARHOL cover (3) 45 rpm discs plus original insert - completely intact - overall excellent EX -

I admit to not being a great judge of 45s - these have merous marks but no feelable scratches and look like they will play with some surface noise, but listenable. I will play grade before end of auction if not bought right away - visually VG to VG+

All Erica Morini records are hard to find.

Andy Warhol began his career as illustrator when he moved to New York City 1949. In addition to magazines, he drew many illustrations for Columbia Records from 1949 to the early fifties, then did many more for RCA Victor/Bluebird in the mid-fifties, and also the odd Blue Note/Riverside Jazz release too. See my other listings for more obscure Andy Warhol LP covers.

Rare vinyl  recording in exceptional condition - in order to list a number of auctions quickly, only the basic info is provided in the title. If you have specific questions about cutout marks or condition you cannot see in the pictures, please contact me. Grading is visual; can play a bit by request, but give me a couple days

PLEASE NOTE: Make sure you realize this is a vinyl LP. If you are looking for cds, go to the cd category. If you bid on this, you will be obligated to buy.

I try to apply the GOLDEN RULE when grading*, but please e-mail or call if you have any questions.

NM: no marks, no evidence of play
NM-: May have one or two very light marks which would not be noticed except for extremely close inspection and which will not affect play.
EX: May have a few very light marks which are nearly invisible and most likely do not sound.
VG+: May have some visible light marks but no feelable scratches. May play with a minimum of noise during quiet passages

I generally ship in new LP mailer  with disc outside cover, both encased in a plastic sleeve and then all inside a plastic grocery-type bag (recycle!), in case it gets left in rain by post office. It usually includes a sheet of bubble wrap. Purchases over $20 generally double-boxed.

* This means that I try to consider what my reaction would be as a buyer, upon winning this auction and pulling the record out its sleeve the first time.  Please note that grades are visual.  It seems to me that play-grading is even more subjective and entails other variables, such as the sensitivity of one's equipment.  I have not listened to many of these records but will try to upon request.  There is not a huge amount of difference between NM/NM-/EX.  As anyone who has handled a lot of used records knows, some play better than they look and VICE VERSA.  If you have problem with something you receive from me (to err is human), please contact me through eBay, and we will most likely be able to work it out.

Note:
If this item has the Best Offer option, and you offer a radically lower price than is listed, you are wasting your time, which does not bother me. However, you are also wasting my time, which does bother me and will prompt an immediate decline, which subtracts from the number of offers you then have available.

That being said, I am willing to accommodate buyers outside the U.S. because they have to add a $15.00 shipping charge. U.S. buyers get free shipping which carries through to the Best Offer, so figure you are ALREADY getting a $4 reduction, as that is generally at least what it costs me, counting packing materials and fees. The way eBay/PayPal assess fees on the shipping portion determines the reasoning behind this policy. Thanks.

I have vacuum-cleaned the discs with a VPI-16.5 and played most of the sides. Fidelity is excellent, occasional background noise, unfortunately it seems a little worse on the solo violin passage, but maybe that's the absence of orchestra. Overall, playing pretty much confirmed the visual grading. I have a turntable set up for monaural recordings with a wide stylus and vintage mid-rangy speakers, and this spectacular performance shines through,.

As a side note, you might want to Google 'Morini Strad' to get historical perspective. In her later years, Ms. Morini had a stroke, and while in the hospital, somebody stole her Stradivarius. The crime has never been soved, and is the subject of play, currently running in Ny and LA.
