Description
Up for auction is a sealed 2Lp vinyl copy of Townes Van Zandt's 1977 masterpiece "Live at The Old Quarter, Houston, Texas" released by The Tomato Music Company, LTD (cat. no. TOM-2-7001). This original US first pressing is still sealed & comes in it's original factory shrink wrap! The foldout RECORD SLEEVE is in NEAR MINT- condition! There are absolutely NO creases, NO bends, NO seam splits, NO deletion marks (punch holes, saw marks, etc.) visible! The SLEEVE only displays very minor corner wear and a minor ding to the center of the spine – nothing serious though! The original shrink wrap is fully intact! A very rare & nice find after 36 years!
The two Lp set features almost all of Townes Van Zandt's live favourites & classics, such as Pancho & Lefty, For The Sake Of The Song, Kathleen or Tower Song just to mention a few. The live recording came from a show held at The Old Quarter club in Houston, Texas, in July 1973.

MINT: The Record Itself Is In Brand New Condition With No Surface Marks Or Deterioration In Sound Quality. The Cover And Any Extra Items Such As The Lyric Sheet, Booklet Or Poster Are In Perfect Condition. Records Advertised, As Sealed Or Unplayed Should Be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The Record Shows Some Signs Of Having Been Played, But There Is Very Little Lessening In Sound Quality. The Cover And Packaging Might Have Slight Wear And / Or Creasing.
VERY GOOD: The Record Has Obviously Been Played Many Times, But Displays No Major Deterioration In Sound Quality, Despite Noticeable Surface Marks And The Occasional Light Scratch. Normal Wear And Tear On The Cover Or Extra Items, Without Any Major Defects, Is Acceptable.
