2 copies of The PARTRIDGE FAMILY Sound Magazine 1971 BELL 6064
copy 1 STILL SEALED (see the 1st 2 picture) but the shrink is open over most of the title & some of the letters are partially whited out.
copy 2 Sleeve is in NM still in the shrink
The idea is obviously so you can combine the 2 copies to have 1 NM/new but opened copy. Yes copy 2 has a nice looking record in it but I never state a condition (with a used LP) till I have cleaned it & graded it. This takes me over an hour so although I will give it a very basic cleaning I'm not grading it. It looks good to me, but my eyes suck, so no complaints if it does. Although Im happy to take your praise if it doesn't.

This can be misleading as Mint implies perfect. A brand new LP will not always play perfectly.
Aside from factory defects or poor quality vinyl, new records that don't play Minty at first might play darn near Mint with a good cleaning. New records often need to be cleaned because they are statically charged & will attract dust etc. Also new records can be contaminated with dust & grit from the factory or even some release agent from the manufacturing process.
