The HMV GR series were quite unusual, first pressed in 1930 when the Gramophone Company introduced the private recorders scheme. There were 31 issues ending in 1955. There were no issues for eleven year from from 1945 until 1951. Many private recordings were for overseas dealers or affiliated entities but these were issued with a country or region specific prefix different to the GR prefix.
Records almost unmarked, playback perfect EX. All the labels except G.R 18A are perfect, G.R. 18 is faded with some water damage. Generic Sleeves.
