You're checking out Sound of Joy, one of Sun Ra's more accessible and groovy records.
These songs are a bit before Sun Ra started to get way out there, but even though they are more of the standard jazz format, there is still plenty of musical experimentation and wonder.
Grading:

  • Sleeve: VG+ There's a bit of a corner wear  - but no seam splits or cuts or rips.
  • Vinyl: NM There may be some cosmetic flaws, but they are incredibly slight. However, this has been play graded to NM. No ambient noise, no hissing, popping, skipping, static, or sibilance.
The record has been in a smoke-free environment, and is cleaned before and after each play.
