Competitive pricing is my goal to get rid of the hundred's of Lp's I have. I may miss a thing or two sometimes on my listings, but I will always be here to help resolve the issue, so not to worry. I try my best in grading lp's, and on occassion I will play test if time allows... I use the goldmine standard to rate my records, again these are my personal records, some are new, some are used. Please do your home work if you do not know what a goldmine standard is. I have been collecting records since my 20's and I am 56 at the moment. Its has been a passion and a part-time hobby, but now it is time to let alot of these records go so I can downsize. I hope you love and enjoy music as much as I do, and selling is another way to get to know other people with a like minded interest as I. Supertramp (known as Daddy in 1969–1970) are an English rock band formed in London in 1969. Though their music was initially categorised as progressive rock, they later incorporated a combination of traditional rock, pop and art rock into their music.
The band's work is marked by the individual songwriting of founders Roger Hodgson and Rick Davies and the prominent use of Wurlitzer electric piano and saxophone. Though their early style was progressive, they enjoyed greater commercial success when they incorporated more radio-friendly pop elements into their work in the mid-1970s, going on to sell more than 60 million albums. The band reached their commercial peak with 1979's Breakfast in America, which sold more than 20 million copies.
Supertramp attained significant popularity in the US, Europe, South Africa, and Australasia with its highest sales levels being in Canada where it had two diamond-certified (ten-times platinum) albums (Crime of the Century and Breakfast in America). Since co-founder Hodgson's departure in 1983, Davies has led the band by himself.
