the Beatles Sgt. Peppers Lonely hearts club band w/ Insert! LP capitol stereo original early press vinyl gatefold NO NEMS or MACLEN credit. smas 2653 matrix: B16/B18 machine stampers, WITH INSERT! with special sgt. pepper insert sheet to cut out and dress up like the sgt! usa press. vg to vg+ lp has some hairlines marks and use (side one is more vg than vg+ and has some pops/clicks on a few tracks that play through) but otherwise still sounds great, ex shape insert, ex shape cover with minor corner rubs, EARLY JACKSONVILLE ILL PRESSING! 1967 northern songs credit on back, no nems or maclen music inc credit on back corner, white and yellow band top bordered version on front of cover, see pics, 2653 on spine. MACHINE STAMPERS to matrix: SMAS 1-2653 - B16 O / (hand etched SMA) S 2-2653 - B18 O. silver lettering on captiol rainbow band labels, album title listed above the hole. see pics. RARE! track A2 listed as "with a little...:" on the label but "A little..." on the back cover. mfd by capitol text begins at 8 o'clock position, capitol dome logo on spine.

Vinyl grading is usually based on the Goldmine standard and is as follows:
“SS” Still Sealed – For the collector that demands nothing but perfection.
“M” Mint - a near perfect, or unplayed record.
“NM” Near Mint - in factory fresh condition, like new.
EX+ - close to like new with only superficial signs of use that don't affect play. Will satisfy all but the most vain and demanding collector.
EX - a used, reasonable copy. Shows slight signs of wear.
VG+ - There will be obvious signs of wear and the possibility a few skuffs and/or light surface noise between tracks or during quiet passages, but still quite nice.
VG - significant wear and marks and usually quite noticeable surface noise,still plays great.
Good - In the record world, "Good" is not good! From here on down, we're talking about beat-up records!
