Description

V E R Y Rare ORIGINAL JAZZ LP "the Story of Moondog" by Moondog.  3rd full length LP - by the king of beatnik rhythms... This is an Original Prestige Records pressing LP-7099.  DEEP GROOVE.  RVG stamp in dead wax.  447 W. 50th St address on label and cover.   Cover art is by Andy Warhol (or his mother ! Its a bit of a mystery, nonetheless a Warhol cover)  Opening bid modestly set to reflect recent auctions / popsike prices.  VERY HARD TO FIND IN any condition, Vinyl here is Near Mint !!  PLEASE SEE OUR OTHER MOONDOG LP FOR SALE....

------CONDITION------

VINYL :  NM   One or two play marks only... Big bright sound.   Plays with light crackle at run-in of each side, quiet elsewhere.  No nasty or feelable marks !  Gorgeous copy, the best we've seen other than when new.

COVER :  VG+  Seams are solid and unsplit, spine is nice.  Title is legible.  Mild bump / wear to corners.   Nice and bright white rear... one address pencil written, one price pen written and three very small stamp marks.  Laminate is bright and clean with no ringwear...

LABEL :  VG++  some light play marks by hole.  No writing.
