Description
What It Is: This is a factory sealed copy of the original release of the Who's seminal rock opera Tommy on the Decca label. How do I know that it was sealed by the factory? The original factory sticker is still attached, though it is splotched with signs of age. If you can't read it in the scan, it says:

This is from the first (and only) pressing on the Decca label.
You may note that the back shows wrinkles in the cellophane wrap -- it is only in the wrap, there is no scratching of the jacket underneath the wrap.

Condition:
Jacket:VG++: there is perhaps 1/2" of scuffing on the bottom right corner where the shrink has pulled apart (the shrink is split for about 1 1/2" there). The top corners have a very little rub wear at the extremes of the corners. But the corners are still completely stiff and unbent. The cellophane is in excellent condition -- no split other than noted at the bottom right, and wrinkles on the rear -- very little rub wear on the bottom of the front, and very little ringwear on the back -- but that's just in the cellophane -- the jacket underneath has no wear or damage on the front or rear faces.LPs: sealed..

All items are visually graded, and if they've been play graded that will be noted. I follow Goldmine grading standards. My grading is conservative, at least as good as I would expect from anyone that I would buy from.Payment:

Within the USA: I ship via USPS Priority mail (please let me know if you require something else). For this one, I'm going to use an extra-large, heavily padded box for complete protection.Outside of the USA: I'm willing to ship outside of the USA, but given the logistics, the terms are a little different than USA sales. Shipping cost will be determined based on the winner's address and size and weight of the package. I usually insist on airmail for reasonable delivery time and better handling. I'll try to state the shipping size and weight in the ad so that you'll have an idea of cost, though final determination of shipping cost will occur then the auction completes. Unfortunately I can't offer free insurance as it often gets quite expensive for overseas shipment, however, I strongly advise that you select insurance as I cannot be responsible for delivery in another country.
