First pressing. July 10, 1964. Black label with yellow logo and silver print. The Parlophone Co. Ltd. printed at the start perimeter print. Recording first published 1964 and Sold in U.K. subject text. Label have thin print. With or without KT tax code on the label. Matrix numbers: Side 1: XEX 481-3N; Side 2: XEX 482-3N.
The main differentiator of this early pressing, compared to later versions, is the black and yellow Parlophone label with the perimeter rim copyright text, 'THE PARLOPHONE CO LTD • ALL RIGHTS OF THE MANUFACTURER AND OF THE OWNER OF THE RECORDING WORK RESERVED • UNAUTHORISED PUBLIC PERFORMANCE BROADCASTING AND COPYING OF THIS RECORD PROHIBITED'. Above the spindle hole the centre text, 'SOLD IN THE U.K. SUBJECT TO RESALE PRICE CONDITIONS, SEE PRICE LISTS'.
CONDITION:
Sleeve has been taped up bottom right , the rest is excellent, clean back, no major marking or writing
Spine is Excellent
Inner emitex, light staining , no rips great condition
Vinyl has no significant marking or playback noise - sounds ex, almost near mint
Labels , just light spindle marks, REALLY EXCELLENT COPY
