Description
A very rare first press 1967 (New Zealand) Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band (PCSM 7072). On the very unique blue Parlophone banner labels. The original sleeve has no tape or tears. It does have corner damage and some minor delamination on the back bottom left as shown in the photos. It has held up amazingly well. I have photographed the disc from a variety of angles under direct bright LED's to show the true extent of scratching and scuffing on both sides. I have played the LP through and there are no skips or sticks. However, there is noise in the quiet sections and between songs. Some of the marks on the disc manifest as a pop or click but overall the playback is good and strong and a whole lot better than many more modern presses of this album. I have taken close ups of the labels. Please note the name written on eaach side in pen.
This is a 55 year old LP and has the attendant signs of wear and tear. The photos form part of the description. It plays very well and is a rare and unique pressing. I am happy to answer any questions. Thank you for your interest.
