dark green labels with added “An E.M.I. Recording” text to the left of the labels, above the “33⅓” and “Mfd. in U.K" text. Top opening G & L gatefold sleeve, Black inners, poster & 4 colour prints, Numbered edition.
Matrices: XEX 709-1, XEX 710-1 , XEX 711-1 , XEX 712-1
This has been for some time my 'go to' copy, but I recently upgraded and so I am offering up for an auction. Please look at/listen to the clip where I have tried to give a fair appraisal of how it sounds generally...
Condition: Overall a VG+ is a conservative assessment - see photos
The gatefold sleeve has some minor creasing, corner wear etc. , is clean and intact with a great spine! - see photos
The original black inners are intact, a little creasing and tiny rips - VG+ though , see photos
The set of 4 photos and the lyric poster are present and in excellent condition, showing only small signs of wear and tear. No pinholes etc.
The labels are unmarked save for a few signs of use, no writing etc. and clean and legible - EX
Both LPs show a few minor scuffs and light scratches on close inspection , but no major or feelable scratches, so they look great for their age. They both play really well. You will hear some crackle between tracks and in some quiet bits , overall though the true mono sound is pretty awesome and a great listen. Watch the clip and get an idea of how it plays (will be better in reality though!)
All in all a great copy, low starting bid. Good Luck
