Description
Two Smiths 12” singles as a job lot. The Boy With The Thorn In His Side 1985 & William It Was Really Nothing 1984. Both vinyl singles play beautifully and are not warped. Both sleeves are perhaps a little faded but I think the original photos and colour tones were intended to be like that anyway. The bonus of William is the two b-sides. How Soon Is Now ? Became a single in its own right the following year and is still a fan favourite. The other track is another fan favourite Please Please Please Let Me Get What I Want. Both tracks often added to Morrissey’s live set list. The b-sides to The Boy are also pretty special in that it is the only place where Rubber Ring and Asleep fade nicely into each other. On the various compilations, they are listed separately. The opening to the sleeve housing The Boy is showing its age and is slightly scuffed. The inner, red sleeve also has a slight tear where the record pokes through. I have included close up photos of the minor faults but I am willing to provide specific pictures and details if it helps you to decide.
