The inside cover reads:
Over the course of two tours in the fall of 2009, I compiled a collection of short poems called cinquains. These are five-line, 22 syllable poems in a 2-4-6-8-2 pattern.This book showcases the poems in the form of a tour journal. the first week or so was with We Are the Union. The subsequent six weeks were with A Loss for Words and Enger. I didn't really edit anything out of this and I think I tended to write when I was bummed and not write when I was in a good mood because I was too busy hanging out with all my friensd. what follows is a (somewhat, but not really) poetic account of The Wonder Years being on tour. Van problems, shitty diets, member changes, self-doubt, bad jokes, weird situations and more--- it's all here.
