Description
The auction is for the UHQR of the Pink Floyd masterpiece Dark Side Of The Moon . Manufactured by MFSL . This1981 release was the first UHQR released . The box set when opened has a protective foam pad . On the underside of the lid is a sleeve inside is the UHQR certificate of authenticity it is hand numbered and signed by hand this copy is # 3164 of the 5000 made . The record is in a separate sleeve inside the box that has a heavy inner white sleeve the record its self is in a soft rice paper sleeve. The bottom of box has another foam pad for the ultimate protection . The record itself weighs 200 grams and is mastered at half speed on virgin vinyl the extra time spent on the pressing gives this record the highest quality sound reproduction possible . I bought this record new and have only played it twice .The box has the appearance of some ware all the ones Ive seen do. I owned a record store for 20 years and have owned multiple copies of all UHQR manufactured . This was the first UHQR released the finish on this box is different then all others UHQR recordings . MFSL recognized the paper on the box did not hold up well and subsequently all other UHQR have a superior material on the boxes it is a threaded material that holds up much better . If you would like to see the difference I am listing 4 others check my other ones out it is easy to see the difference in the material used on box and how much better it wares . I have owned this since knew and taken very good care of it the record is the way I received it from MFSL as I stated I have only played it twice the inner black and red sleeve has about a four inch rip at top seam . } Please see all pictures and fill free to ask any questions good luck
