IMPOSSIBLY RARE as far as I know only known copy original US 7" acetate that features two unissued recordings. Both sides are fantastic uptempo northern soul / crossover dancers. Both sides penned by Truman Thomas (he also wrote Bobby Womack's "You're Welcome, Stop On By", had some releases on Veep etc.) and were copyrighted in late 1972. The version of "I'll Never Love Nobody Else" is different and pre-dates the version that appeared on Stephanie Mills debut LP on ABC from 1975. Unfortunately there are some speed fluctuations on the a-side, but that is the way this acetate was made, it must've been the master tape slipping when they cut the acetate.
All of the 7" acetates I have up for grabs this week originally came directly from the family of Don French, he was an A&R guy and also did arrangements/production for Fairmount, Michelle, Hallmark, Panic, Spring, IX Chains etc. I've had these acetates since 2006, but it's time to let them go now.
Vinyl condition: read -> (extremely hard to grade - see pictures and listen to soundclips! - many light hairlines & tiny pressing bubbles on both sides, the lacquer on the "Love Me..." side is very fragile and has got flaking at the outer edge of the disc that makes it hard to cue properly, listen!)
I have not made any attempts to clean these acetates, I leave that to the buyer.
