Rare US 10" acetate 45rpm:
UNKNOWN MALE ARTIST "Tender Feeling" (Associated Recording Studios) original early 1960s (?) USA custom acetate pressing
RARE PUBLISHERS DEMONSTRATION RECORDING! This disc came with many Hill & Range publishing acetate records, which I believe were part of the Carlin Publishing music archive in the UK. This is an unknown male vocal group vocal of "Tender Feeling" with full musical backing, written by Bernie Baum, Florence Kaye & Bill Giant - so could potentially be one of them singing? This is a publishers demonstration disc, and the song was obviously being touted around for somebody to record and release. That person was Elvis Presley, who recorded it in 1963 and later released on the "Kissin' Cousins" soundtrack in 1964.
Most other discs in the collection were early 60s - which would tie in with a later recording in 1963. Soundclip below - no audio clean-up - full track is 2min 25sec...

DESCRIPTION: Disc clean, with a few light scuffs, labels clean. Plays excellent with some light static and the odd light tick (didn't want to clean the disc - will leave that to the experts!), in plain brown sleeve.
