A rare and obscure compilation of the '80s Japanese new wave, post-punk and wavey KBD style punk rock bands. Includes the 10 bands from the Kyoto city, Japan: Vampire!, Tanaka Band, Yoshidayama, Iwakura, The Ruke, Lisa Tani, Brats, The Gamblers, The P, and Bad Stuff. Most of the bands are totally unknown and besides Vampire!, I don't even know if they have any other releases. I know Vampire! because they have the 7" out on the well-known Kyoto based label Beat Crazy Records. Gator Wobble was a small, new wave/punk/underground rock label from the Kyoto area. Despite the title says "Rock Steady", this compilation has nothing to do with reggae or the Jamaican rocksteady music.... Both the sleeve and vinyl are in Mint condition like new. Comes with the printed inner-bag sleeve which is also like new.
