(various artists) 'In The Storm So Long' LP (US, Mississippi Records, Catalogue #MRP-066) Brand new/unplayed copy of limited and now LONG SOLD OUT/OUT OF PRINT year 2010 Mississippi Records label LP edition/collection of rare gospel 45s, circa 1961-1978, released by Waymon "Gusman" Jones on his Gusman Records label of Savannah, Georgia.

(NOTE: LIMITED VINYL EDITION!)


Compilation of gospel songs (raw & ragged recordings from the 1960s and 1970s) from the Pitch and Gusman labels, a small local label based out of Savannah, Georgia. The labels, under the direction of Waymon Jones, were operated from his Gusman Record Store from the 1960s until 1978. Most tracks have a heavy guitar sound with loads of reverb. At times haunting & at times joyous. Real rockin' homemade music by & for the people. Old school ''tip on'' sleeve. Liner note sheet too.
