This is a list of six shellac Victrola records. Actually one is Columbia. They’re all vintage, probably 100 years old. They’ve all been cleaned, but they have not been play tested. But I will describe the records to my best ability. I’m also including the record album, it’s in fair shape, but I’m basically using it to add stability to the records when I send them. None of the records are cracked.
1-Victrola item 89007. Pescatori de perked. Pearl fishers. In the depths of the temple. Act one. Enrico Caruso and Mario aNCONA. This is a one-sided pressing. It is in excellent used condition. There are a few small smudges on the vinyl. This is a Victor talking machine record. Dated August 11, 1908. These are all 12 inch records. They will be sent in vinyl sleeves.
2-This is another Victrola record item 74196. This record is a one-sided pressing and the Shellac tracks are in excellent condition. This is LIEBESFRUD and old Vienna waltz. By Fritz KREISLER.
3-Victrola item 74594. TRAVIATANAH, FORS‘ E lui. The one of whom I dreamed. Preceded by the Recitative of how wondrous. By Amilita Galli-Curi. This is a one-sided pressing. And it is in excellent used condition.
4-Victrola item 88296. MIGNON-Polonese. I’m fair Tatiana. Act two. By Luisa tetrazzini. This record is also in excellent used condition. All of these are dated August 11, 1908 so I assume that’s just a patent number?
5-Victrola record item 88138. This is silent night, holy night of Christmas him by Gruber. Song by Earnestine Schumann-Heink . STILLE NACHT, HEILIGE NACHT. This pressing is one-sided. There is a small mart in the vinyl from the pricing. I don’t think it’ll affect Play. This record other than that one little bump is an excellent used condition. See photo.
6-last record is a Columbia masterworks. And it’s a two-sided shellac record. Item 7416. XCO item 33799. One side is Schubert, Ave Maria. By Andre KOSTLANETZ and his Orchestra. This record is in excellent used condition. No scratches noted one smudge on the side with Bach-GLUNOD. Oddly enough the flipside is also Ave Maria by Bach. Still Andre KOSTELANETZ and his Orchestra. 7416M. A 12 inch huge single I guess.
The album is over 100 years old. The binding is falling apart it’s in poor shape. But it will add stability to the shipping. Some of the sleeves are torn but they’re all intact and there. You can do with it what you want once you receive the item.
I suggest priority mail just because the handling could be better than media but I will send media as well. The Records an album without any packaging are heavy. They are 6 1/2 pounds without any packing materials. I suspect with packing materials I will be over 8 pounds. I don’t wanna break any of these shellac records so I’ll do my best to pack them.
