Ester MAZZOLENI (1883 – Palermo 1982)
Making her debut at the Teatro Costanzi in 1906 as Leonora in Il Trovatore, Mazzoleni became a leading artist at La Scala in roles such as Isabella in Cristoforo Colombo (fianchetti) and Giulia in Spontini’s La Vestale. She was also heard in other important Italian opera houses as well as in spain and South America,. In later years she taught in Palermo, where she died at the age of 100.

V + Very well worn but listenable Expect the surface noise to be significant. There may be stressed grooves.
