This is the real thing: a genuine MINT CONDITION 1975 UK FIRST PRESSING. The record is in immaculate as-new condition and the cover and inner sleeve are also in very good condition. All items are free from any major defects such as tears, dog ears or writing. See pics. All items are the genuine originals bought together by me in 1975 (one careful owner!) not reprints or replacements. The LP is the original 1975 UK stereo LP, which was only played occasionally on top-end audiophile equipment and lovingly cared for.

10cc are an English rock band founded in Stockport that achieved its greatest commercial success in the 1970s. The band initially consisted of four musicians – Graham Gouldman, Eric Stewart, Kevin Godley, and Lol Creme – who had written and recorded together for some three years, before assuming the name "10cc" in 1972.
10cc featured two songwriting teams, one "commercial" and one "artistic". Stewart and Gouldman were predominantly pop-songwriters, who created most of the band's accessible songs. By way of contrast, Godley and Creme were the predominantly experimental half of 10cc, featuring an Art School sensibility and cinematic inspired writing.
Every member of 10cc was a multi-instrumentalist, singer, writer and producer, and the writing teams frequently switched partners, so that Godley/Gouldman or Creme/Stewart compositions were not uncommon. After Godley and Creme left the band in 1976, Gouldman and Stewart were the main creative forces behind 10cc. Stewart left the band in 1996, and Gouldman continues to lead a touring version of 10cc.
Most of the band's albums were recorded at their own Strawberry Studios (North) in Stockport and Strawberry Studios (South) in Dorking, with most of those engineered by Stewart.
Released immediately following 10cc's departure from the UK label, and in the wake, too, of their multi-million selling "I'm Not in Love" hit, 100cc is both a "best-of" the band's first two years together, and a handy wrap up of their non-album output. For six of their first seven British singles, 10cc prided themselves on exclusive B-sides – the instrumentals "Hot Sun Rock" and "Gismo My Way," the oddball pop of "4% of Something" and "Bee in My Bonnet," and the sheer exuberance of "18 Carat Man of Means" and "Waterfall" were all available only to buyers of those early 45's, and their inclusion on 100cc took the edge off an already burgeoning collectors' market.
However, the joyful enthusiasm of label head Jonathan King's liner notes renders the vinyl original a fascinating reminder of the days when 10cc really were all the wonderful things that their admirers claimed, and the denouement of their later years was still a tragedy waiting to happen.
