Elgin Avenue breakdownRare US LP released in 1985 on Pantheon Records. Cat.IOU101. San Diego Hardcore. Comes with lyric insert which is in Excellent condition. Primarily known as the band Joe Strummer was in before he joined the Clash, the 101'ers were part of the last wave of British pub rock bands of the mid-'70s. The group never released any recordings while they were together, yet they were among the important transitional figures in the metamorphosis of pub rock into punk rock. Contains the remnants of three demo sessions, including one recorded at the BBC, and a live audience tape.
Record is in Near Mint condition. Cover has ring wear and a red pen mark on back top right hand corner. Cover is in VG+ condition.
