"Wouldn't it be nice to"....Own this baby! Here is an incredibly early copy of he Beach Boys seminal album-Pet Sounds...IN GREAT CONDITION AND ALL COMPLETE TOO!

The Vinyl:

QUALITY 148g
Only carries light surface marks...I noticed two tiny skips, right at the start of track 2, side 1...Not sure why as I cannot see theoffening mark. Maybe this will play over with a slightly heavier stylus than mine-I use a Focus One Deck, with an SMK arm and an Audio Technica stylus.
I have just cleaned her and then listened to her-all the way through-WOW...The audio was superb. Lovely and rich, with clear highs and bassy lows.
There was a light repetitive pop on the final track of side 1, but nothing to make her jump or stick...Stopped for the final bit of the track.
FLAT as the day she was born.
You really can get the appreciation of how this was their seminal album.

The Labels:
VG+
It is the 1st pressing label, with the "Sold In The U.K..." text.
Very little wear...The rainbow edge remains lovely and bright.
NO WRITING.
NO STICKERS.
Very little central hole wear, with light spindle marks-visible when angled towards the light.
Play it and then frame it!

The Sleeve:
VG+
Front laminated cover with minimal spidering lines to the laminate.
The corners remain strong, with just a very small amount of rubbing-nothing to worry about at all.
The spine is wonderfully clear and free from rubbing and/or splits.
MONO to the top right corner, as well as the Capitol white box logo.
The back card has some discolouration-as can be seen in the detailed images provided. There is a small name to the top, but nothing offensive.
The Garrod & Lofthouse (PATENTS PENDING) flipbacks are in superb shape and perfectly intact.

The Inner:
EX.
It is a period die-cut, double windowed inner in superb contion.
It even has the much rarer "PATENTS APPLIED FOR" text to the bottom left corner, with "MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN" to the bottom right corner.
Just some slight foxing and age related spots to the white paper..That is all.
SUPERB.
