Description
This collection of Steve Miller Band albums have had just one careful owner so are all still in excellent condition with only the lightest of wear (unless mentioned otherwise below). They include an excellent selection of the Steve Miller Bands career spanning 3 decades, these are mainly UK pressings and include:
1. Sailor - ST 2984 a Capitol black/ silver label in front laminated sleeve 2. Your Saving Grace - E-EST 331 Capitol Green label in fully Laminated sleeve 3. Brave New World - E-ST 184 Capitol black/ silver label in front laminate sleeve 4. Number 5 - EA-ST 436 Capitol green label in matt gatefold sleeve 5. Rock Love - SW- 748 US pressing on Red Capitol label heavy card sleeve 6. The Joker - SMAS-11235 Capitol label in gatefold sleeve 7. Book of Dreams - 9286 455 Mercury records label with lyric insert. 8. Living in the 20th Century - EST 2027 Capitol rainbow edge label with card inner. 9. Vinyl: Excellent apart from Sailor (VG + - needs a light clean) Sleeve: Excellent; no serious wear e.g no noticeable spilts, ringwear, edgewear etc Born 2B Blue needs to be re-glued along the inner flap Labels: Clean and bright
All in all a very well cared for instant collection for any Steve Miller vinyl aficionado!
I grade in accordance with the Rare Record Price Guide, I do my utmost to grade accurately and I tend to grade conservatively to avoid buyer disappointment. On higher interest/ value items I may also play grade to check for any audio faults. That said I do accept returns in instances when the buyer is not satisfied (Buyer pays postage). The gradings are as follows:
Mint: The record itself is in Brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. (I only sell items as mint when they are Sealed/ new)
Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/ or creasing.
Very good: The record has obviously been played many times, but display no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover and extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and the contents suffer from folding, scuffing of the edges, spine splits, discolouration etc.
