Here's FLETCHER HENDERSON AND HIS CONNIE'S INN ORCHESTRA, in two rip-snorting, red-hot numbers which kept the patrons jumping on Connie's dance floor: Euday L. Bowman's "12th STREET RAG" and Jelly Roll Morton's "MILENBERG JOYS." Fletcher stretches his arranging chops on these two "War Horses," and gets them into sleek 1931 condition!
This band romped! - And how could it not, populated with a deadly bunch of heavy hitters like BOBBY STARK (trumpet) EDGAR SAMPSON and RUSSELL PROCOPE (Clarinet), COLEMAN HAWKINS (tenor sax), J.C. HIGGINBOTHAM (trombone) and JOHN KIRBY (bass)?
This very rare original 1931 Crown 3212 is in V condition. Somewhat scratched and worn. No major gouges or other damage. Plenty of play left for thou!
