This is an awesome copy of the first (and only) LP from the 1619 BAD ASS BAND, a legendary cult 70s funk band. This was released in 1978 on Graham International Records, distributed by TPM Industries, Corp - 39 W. 55th Street, NY, NY, 10019.

I never really understood the Goldmine ratings (M-/VG+ etc) but I do describe my records accurately - notice my 1500+ positive feedback and lack of negative feedback. The label reads: “Promotional Copy: Not for sale.”

Like many of the promo copies seen for sale, the upper right hand corner of the sleeve on this one is clipped. Additionally, there is a little bit of ringwear but overall in great shape. The previous owner of this LP wrote his (or her) initials on the front of the sleeve: “IS” (as you can see in the picture).

The vinyl is in amazing shape, no skips, pops, etc. Hardly any wear, which is amazing a record that’s almost 35 years old.

This is totally underrated classic that doesn’t pop up very often. Only copy I can find anywhere on the internet is selling for over $900. Bid now!
