This was the very first official release, being released on the 22nd of March 1963 (MONO version) and later on the 26th of April 1963 (STEREO version). The Lp reached number one in; Disc Weekly, Melody Maker, New Musical Express and The Record Retailer in the UK. Only to be knocked off by their next album With The Beatles.
Amazingly the songs, which were taken from their first two singles and included a further ten songs, were all recorded in one marathon session at Abbey Road Studios. John wasn't feeling too well and got throught the 3 sessions in the one day by having milk, tea and Zubes lozenges....

VG. Gorgeous, heavy vinyl.
I notice light marks to her-BUT certainly: NO SKIPS OR JUMPS
I have just finished listening to all of her and found some light and occasional background noise, BUT also a superb rich deep bass reproduction with clear peaks too.
The begining of side 2 has some light background noise, but she gets better as she progresses....Would certainly benifit for a gentle professional clean

GREAT RAW SOUND TOO
Labels: VG. There's barely any central hole wear with light spindle marks evident when angled towards the light.
Outer rim text starts with "The Parlophone Co.Ltd" "Recording First Published 1963" stated under the printed matrix number.
NO "Sold In UK..." statement...Showing it is the 5th pressing.

CERTAINLY DONE HER JOB IN LOOKING AFTER THIS WONDERFUL SLAB OF VINYL FOR ALL THESE YEARS!

She is gorgeous-with vibrant colours and strong corners-she would look great framed!
Just a few small crescents of spidering to the front laminate, to the bottom left corner there is a longer but very light line around the edge of where the disc has been housed for all these years.
The back card has some discolouration-as can be seen in the photos provided.
