Here's a 1931 Country 78 by Cranford And Thompson on Champion label # 16243.This is Bob Cranford and A.P. Thompson who were members of the Red Fox Chasers.Songs titled Lula wall on one side with the song That Sweetie Of Mine on the other side.Records not in great shape but has been play tested and plays through fine with no skips.The That Sweetie Of Mine side has multiple scratches with approximately 35 to 40 feelable scratches.Most of the feelable scratches are small with only about 5 being larger than small.Also has lots of scuffing with a 2 inch long scuff that is feelable.Side has groove wear with some graying but still has some black on grooves.Label has some wear and also some staining.The Lula Wall side of record also has multiple scratches with about 40 of the scratches being feelable.Also in this case most of the feelable scratches are small with about 8 being larger than small.Has one small dig or white colored pit mark which does not cause needle to jump.Lots of scuffs.Also has groove wear with graying.Not all gray as there is still some black(Not alot but some).Some staining on label which caused the label to fade Please see picture.I've seen some labels with staining so as if you just rub them they begin to peel.Neither of the labels on this record are like that.They won't rub off unless you really try.I play tested both side and they play as follows.The That Sweetie Of Mine side plays with a noisy background crackle but song is louder than the background crackle.Song is still clear as it doesn't come through distorted or muffled.Plays with some pops but no skips.The Lula Wall side of record plays with a very noisy background crackle but song still comes through louder than crackle.Some pops no skips.About halfway through song plays a little better.The song gets a little louder as the background get a little quieter.Record will probably play better on a better 78 player than mine.As with all records I sell if buyer is not 100% satisfied I have a return for refund.
