Description
Here is a RARE ORIGINAL Christmas album from my collection offered up for sale: Bing Crosby's classic album "Merry Christmas" released in 1955 by Decca Records DL 8128 (mono), this is a 1st pressing with the rigid 1950's style vinyl and black and silver "long play" labels, still has plastic baggie inner sleeve, is in well cared for condition for 62 year old!
The vinyl grades VG/VG+, is clean, has numerous light marks but still has nice gloss, has been PLAY TESTED. Plays from start to finish with very good sound quality, clear sound, side two plays excellent, minimal surface noise, side one plays with a bit more surface noise, errant light pops, no skips or jumps, overall a very enjoyable listen! The vintage baggie has a small split at opening edge.
The cover rates EX, has clean bright portraits of Bing with no ring wear, only very light age discoloration, edges and corners EX but had a small bottom center split neatly re-glued (unnoticeable), binder edge readable, no tape, only one faint spot stain on back (near opening, unnoticeable), no signatures or writing, has been very well cared for.
