Description
Here is a Christmas album from my collection offered up for sale: Bing Crosby's 1st holiday album from 1945 "Merry Christmas". This is an original 1949 "Long Play" pressing, released by Decca DL 5019 (Mono), all discs labels have 550 on them. Features 8 songs on 10" vinyl played at 33 rpm, similar cover to 1945 with a young Bing image on front and printing on back. This 70 year old disc has several marks but still plays without jumps and has a well cared for cover.
The vinyl grades VG, is clean and glossy, has many light marks and a few more moderate ones, has been PLAY TESTED. This disc plays with some pops but no skips or jumps.
The cover rates EX, is clean with bright colors and no ring wear, minimal handling wear, splits at opening edge were neatly taped, no signatures or writing, no stains, back has some age discoloration and a small indent near corner, has been VERY well cared for! (see all photos)
