Description
First issue 1958 Uk Decca SXL 2029 Campoli plays the Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto with Argenta and the LSO. Wide silver stereophonic band on black deep grooved labels with Original recording by.. at 10 o clock, and an ffss circle at 12 o clock, with 2E1E stampers, and rear of sleeve has October 1958 printers code to flips. Blue bordered Sleeve is excellent, unfortunately record is VG+, with several little clicking but not jumping scratches, so sold as is without option of return - do not bid if you are looking for a mint one.
Part of a massive Near Mint early stereo list at low starts for everything.
This is one of some very exciting classical rarities in my list this week, from a Composers collection, plenty of Cello sonatas and early recitals from soloists looking for gigs, with rare stereo items from Britain in abundance.
