1958 Edsel Division Ford Motor Co This Is Edsel Introduction LP 12" Album 1957

Hello and thanks for taking a peek at my listings today...I hope you'll find something fun.

Offered this evening is a full length 12" LP titled This Is The Edsel issued in the fall of 1957 to promote the all new 1958 Edsel automobile. This LP was produced by Regan Film Programs and most likely accompanied a film strip for Edsel Salesmen to become familiar with the new car they were about to receive at their dealership.

The record contains the following six tracks which are spoken word describing different features of the Edsel:

1. Introduction
2. Performance
3. Engine
4. Safety Features
5. Teletouch Drive
6. Instruments

The LP has several scuff marks that are visible under a bright spotlight and cause some surface noise when played. The record does play all the way through without skips. The record comes in a plain paper sleeve.

I grade on a stricter scale than Goldmine (at least the watered down version that seems to exist here on eBay) I will take the time to describe any flaws on both the cover and record itself rather than give a letter grade that will mean something different to seemingly every record buyer and seller.

Please feel free to email with any questions.

The fine print:

I only accept payment through Paypal - if you do not have a Paypal account, please email me BEFORE bidding to inquire about alternative payment methods.

Due to overwhelming requests, I generally ship domestic packages by Media Mail. However, please keep in mind that while Media Mail is the cheapest shipping method, it is also the slowest. Media Mail can take several weeks or MORE to arrive. Media Mail shipping within the United States is $4.00 including mandatory Delivery Confirmation.

I do combine shipping for multiple purchases. The $4.00 covers between one and two albums. Additional albums (three and up) are an additional .50 cents each. Please wait for an invoice from me as the Paypal system does not calculate the combined shipping.

Overseas shipping is by Air Mail only. Shipping for one LP to Canada is $15.50 and everywhere else in the world is $23.00. Overseas shipping is by regular air mail and can take anywhere from one to four weeks to arrive. I do combine shipping on overseas purchases - I will send an invoice with the combined shipping cost if you purchase more than one LP.

Sorry I no longer ship to Italy or the Russian Federation due to the high number of "lost" packages.

All records are mailed in cardboard record mailers with cardboard inserts to prevent damage. LP will be removed from the cover to prevent seam splits while in transit.

Thanks for looking and good luck!
