Description
Here is a RARE Elvis Presley lp from my collection offered up for sale: "Elvis' Golden Records" album, this is an original 1958 1st pressing, released by RCA LPM 1707 (MONO). It has the heavy vinyl with silver top Nipper labels that say "Long Play" at the bottom, cover has blue lettering on the front, back has 1st column print with "after 31 grueling 'takes'. . ." which was deleted on reissues, still has printed inner sleeve. Music features Elvis at his best in 1958 performing all his rock 'n roll HITS with Scotty Moore on guitar, great album!
The vinyl rates strong VG+, is clean and glossy, has some faint sleeve marks and a few small light marks, nothing heavy or feel-able, has been a well cared for 60 year old! Play tested, this album plays excellent from start to finish, deep clear sound with minimal surface noise, a very enjoyable listen!
The vintage cover rates VG+, has clean and bright front portrait of Elvis with no ring wear, edges and corners have light wear and top and bottom partial splits neatly re-glued, no tape, binder edge EX and readable, back has a small light spot stain, no signatures or writing, looks minimally handled! Printed inner sleeve has center splits neatly taped. (see all pics)
