Description
Here is a vintage album from my collection offered up for sale: An authentic first pressing of Elvis' 1958 album "Elvis Golden Records" in very well cared for condition! Released in 1958 by RCA Records, this is a vintage 1958 1st pressing LPM-1707 (mono) with the 1958 style "Silver Top Nipper" labels with the "Long Play" on the bottom. The cover has the original light blue letters on the front and no "RE" after the catalog number on the back. This album is Elvis at his best! The former SUN records artist with his early crowning achievements! Songs include: Hound dog, Loving you, All shook up, Heartbreak hotel, Jailhouse rock, Teddy bear, Don't be cruel, Love me tender, Love me, Too much, and MORE! These songs all released in a span of a year or so at RCA records!
The heavy weight vinyl rates EX, is super clean and glossy, has only a few small light marks, nothing heavy, has been very well cared for! PLAY TESTED, plays with excellent audio quality, clear sound, quiet in the quiet spots, only a couple pops when you put the needle down at the start of side two (?), minimal surface noise, a VERY enjoyable listen! The cover rates VG+, has bright deep color, edges and corners show minimal wear but top and binder are showing their age and a small split at top opening was neatly glued, binder is only partly readable, no tape, back has some age discoloration near edges and a couple faint spot stains, back bottom right has tiny stamped initials (barely noticeable, see photo), front has small light bend near opening, minimal ring wear, still has original inner sleeve, has been a well cared for 57 year old!
