This auction features 1959 Kenny Dorham VG+ The Arrival Deep Groove Jaro LP JAM 5007. Vinyl is a strong VG+ (not NM because of superficial light scratches that do not affect play). A bit of light pencil marking on the label near the hole on side B. Includes an excellent condition Jaro International inner sleeve. Jacket is VG due to stain and 1/4" seam split along top edge. Also included with this album are two classic jazz LPs: 1) J.J. Johnson "J is For Jazz" with NM- vinyl and EX jacket and 2) Bobby Jaspar with George Wallington & Idrees Sulieman with VG+ vinyl and VG+ jacket. IMPORTANT: as a final "bonus", these three LPs were originally acquired from the Catskill Mountain summer home of the late actress Butterfly McQueen of "Gone With The Wind" fame. I procured these LPs last week at a large antique show in upstate NY. I am a good judge of character and I am 95% certain the gentleman who sold me the records was telling me the truth regarding the Butterfly McQueen provenance.
