Description

One of a nice collection of Classical rarities we have just had in, see our me page for more.

Decca stereo 10 inch LP SWL 8012 10" Grieg Concerto performed by Clifford Curzon & the LSO with Fjeldstad. Curzon is one of the few pianists from the middle of the last century whose every recorded note I have fervidly hunted down, ticking them off the discography every time I located one. I have them all now, I rate him very highly. This is a gem.

UK wide band ED1 pressing.

Record in Near Mint condition and jacket in Excellent condition. Low 1E4E stampers denoting the work of Stan Goodall, unlikely to be bettered by any audiophile issues as he was the original mastering engineer, an expert who was working with brand new tapes, which by now will be deteriorated if they even still exist.
