Description
Near mint first Czech press from 1962 of the great Russian Pianists Tatiana Nikolayeva & Margareta Fyodorova in a Bach Suite each (French and English suites) in the first type stitched gatefold sleeve, not the later pocket. Tatiana Nikolayeva original recordings as here have remained in demand since the 1980s, when we were made aware of her sublime touch. Fyodorova has always beena musicians musician, a bit of a well kept secret who has avoided the international spotlight but whose playing is extremely pleasing, and was asked by Shostakovich to be the first to play his 2nd Piano concerto in public. These iron curtain early issues hardly ever appear on the market in as good and low played condition as this, they tended to get played a lot. The cleanliness and lack of spindle marks on the labels here suggests this is one of those exceptions. Our ethos is to offer you best sounding analogue only pressings of vintage records. Here is another beauty of that type. We offer massive postage subsidies to overseas buyers on multiple purchases. i.e £1 extra per lp to a maximum of £15, then no extra charge. We pack carefully in custom made hard card boxes. If the appearance or playgrade suggests it requires it, our records are cleaned on a wash and vac machine, using art du son fluid in distilled water. This is already in a new heavy poly outer with antistatic inners added with outer sleeve and records all layered behind each other to prevent splits.
