1962 UK Decca Original Recording By labels Decca ED1 SXL 6006 Holst Hymn of Jesus & Perfect Fool Ballet music suite and Egdon Heath Tone Poem. Sir Adrian Boult conducting the LPO here. He was the great conductor of English music, so these will be definitive performances.
Lowest 1E1E stampers, Stan Goodall masterings from the first batch ever released, with the insert included.
Original UK LP Issued in 1965 by Decca Records .
Wide Band Labels with deep groove & "Original Recording by" Rim Text. Record in Near Mint condition, no marks and very clean playing surfaces, Sleeve is Excellent, just some wrinkles to lower flip, but none of it missing. No splits or creases, no dirt or pen. Labels are clean as seen in pics. Original FFSS inner excellent, the lack of signs of wear to this suggesting as do the lack of many spindle trails that this has not been played much in its 52 year life. A highly regarded top collectable SXL.
Heard throughout, this played near mint with the minimum amount of pops without even being cleaned.
