Here is a RARE original album from my collection offered up for sale: A vintage 1962 1st pressing of James Brown 3rd album "The Apollo Theatre Presents The James Brown Show", album is in well cared for condition! Great 53 year old collectable relic from one of the fathers of Funk & Rock n Roll! This is an original release from 1962, with the rigid vinyl and black and silver LONG PLAY labels, released on King records 826 Mono. This is a great album! Songs include: "I Love You Yes I Do, I Don't Mind, Come Over Here, Please don't Go",Try me, Please Please Please, Night Train, Think, and more!
This vintage rigid record grades Very Good Plus (VG+/EX), is super glossy and clean, has only a few very light marks, nothing heavy, has been well cared for! PLAY TESTED, plays great from start to finish with excellent sound quality, clear sound, minimal surface noise, a very enjoyable listen!
The cover rates VG+, front is clean and bright and has great colors, edges and corners show minimal wear but partial splits on top and bottom seams have been neatly glued (barely noticeable), binder edge EX and readable, front has small sticker with pen writing, back has small pen initials and a number written, has a couple faint stains at bottom/corner, otherwise cover is clean and bright with no ring wear! (see all photos) Has original vintage paper inner sleeve, clean!
