AN ORIGINAL 1964 MONO ISSUE OF THE BEATLES CLASSIC "MEET THE BEATLES" ALBUM! (Capitol T-2047) THIS IS THE VERY FIRST ISSUE OF THE ALBUM COVER HAVING TAN/BROWN "BEATLES" LETTERS ON THE FRONT COVER AND NO "PRODUCED BY GEORGE MARTIN" ON THE BACK. COVER HAS A NUMBER "2" ON THE LOWER RIGHT BACK COVER MAKING IT A SCRANTON, PA MANUFACTURED EXAMPLE. 

Remains in it's original "in-store baggywrap", which has protected the album cover from harm for all of these years, however, it does a small edge tear. I have taken photos of the cover in and out of the baggywrap so you can see just how sweet she is! Also includes a Capitol inner company sleeve in good condition.

ALBUM COVER--(Cover remains sparkling clean and shows light to minor overall wear and NO RING WEAR; beautiful, rock solid seams with an indentation on the top left side seam. The back remains very clean and bright and shows foxing spots on the left side vertically, overall grades Very Strong VG+ to a near VG++.)

M- : Full blazing gloss, super clean, marks are extremely minimal.

NM : Retains beautiful gloss, excellent label, only a few light surface marks.

VG++ : Nice label, any scratches or marks will be minor and does not affect play.

VG+ : Minor surface marks/scuffs/scratches on vinyl, light to minor wear on label, plays well.

VG : Used record and may retain gloss, surface scratches and scuffs are noticeable, minor to moderate wear on label, plays ok unless otherwise noted.

VG-: Well played with abundant scratches and scuffs, label may have tears and other wear, plays with background noise, pops, etc.

G : Mishandled and abused, label damage, may have severe scratches and scuffs, a good wall hanger.
