Beatles MEET THE BEATLES
Catalog Number: Capitol ST-2047 Vinyl grade: MINT See below for grading scale Cover grade: NEAR MINT (Sealed in shrink!) Please see pictures for close up photos of corner. Very slight bumps may be evident. Breathe holes are pictured! Very small break in shrink on lower opening edge...less than 1/8" Old price sticker residue on front cover. Other comments: I recently acquired a collection of Beatles albums and ALL were sealed! From the cover construction ,I can safely determine these all appear to be 1976-1983 era pressings.(There is no numbers printed on the lower back covers) I opened one (BEATLES STORY) to see what pressing it was and it is in fact a Purple "MFD BY CAPITOL" 1978 era issue. I cannot guarantee you the bidder which pressing is in each record but it can be safely assumed that these are certainly either a 1976-78 Orange label,1978-83 Purple Label or 1983-1988 Colorband reissue. My guess is these are all Purple labels. Enjoy!!All records are vintage pressings unless otherwise noted.
Grading Scale
Sealed Jacket sealed shut in shrinkwrap:disc sold ungraded or "as is" NM Appears Unplayed and will bear no marks,sleeve scuffs or scratches. EX Disc appears as close to Near Mint as Possible with most like a tiny mark,or a sleeve scuff that is nothing but superficial VG++ May have one or two visible imperfections (i.e. sleeve scuffs, faint scratches, or other superficial marks) that will not affect play. VG+ A few visible imperfections. These may include sleeve scuffs, light scratches, or other superficial marks. VG Same imperfections found on VG+ records but in slightly greater numbers. Records graded VG and above will typically not have any scratches that are deep enough to be felt with a fingernail. VG- A number of visible imperfections; the presence of a considerable number of light scratches will force a VG- grade, as will the presence of significant isolated defects such as scratches deep enough to be felt with a fingernail. G Pervasive imperfections of varying degrees including both light scratches and scratches deep enough to be felt with a fingernail. G+ and G- are used to indicate stronger and weaker copies within this range.All records are visually graded,occasionally play tested as well.
