It may be the type music they sing—or their ac- tions and mannerisms on stage—or the way they arrange their material. But over a period of time they evolve a mode that becomes their trademark. Over the years the Weatherfords have become famous for a smooth, close blend and a rich harmony sprinkled liberally with modern chords. Their al- bums have become classics in the field of gospel recordings. This latest re- lease, cut in the RCA Victor Studios in Nashville, will provide their many followers everywhere with another album of the noted Weatherford sound. Lily Fern, returns to the group and when she takes the lead on such songs as, “Sweet Jesus * and “It’s In Your Hands”, with the fellows providing a satiny backdrop you’ll quickly realize that here is the Weatherford Quar- tet at its best.
