Their rich harmony has been described by a nationally known arranger-composer as being "precisioned as fine instruments, enhanced with feeling and conviction.” While full-time students, the Fairchild sisters, who live in Atlanta, maintain a demanding singing schedule, which recently has taken them from Dallas to Washington, from Miami to Philadelphia and New York City. Featured often as special guests on radio and television, the Fairchilds have been heard enthusiastically in area-wide evangelistic crusades, state and national conventions, and meetings of some of the nation's leading industries and businesses. Renae, an honor student at Emory University, was Miss Congeniality of Atlanta, a performer in the Live Show at Six Flags Over Georgia, and has received state and national awards as a writer and speaker. Treba and LaRisa, identical twins, are juniors in high school, where recognition has come to them in art and writing as well as singing. Their pastor, J. Hoffman Harris, high in his praise of the Fairchild sisters, says, "They possess rare charm and talent, and their vivacious personalities are marked by sincerity, humility, and Christian commitment.” Lawrence Welk, on hearing the Fairchilds, invited them to open his show with their singing at the new international OMNI in Atlanta.
