Description

Here we have a mega rare Blues classic,the 1965 7'' single from Little George Smith,'Blues In The Dark'.It was the 3rd ever single to be released on the highly collectable Blue Horizon record label and the catalogue no.is 45-1002.The B side is 'Telephone Blues'.

This record was only available by mail order to readers of a magazine,'R&B Monthly',and only 99 copies were ever produced.As such it is extremely rare and has been much sought after by collectors of 1960s Blues and R&B.

The record is in VG+ condition and both sides play well with just occasional faint surface noise.Overall the sound is sharp and clear.

The record comes with a plain cardboard sleeve for protection.

IN MINT CONDITION THIS ITEM IS VALUED BY RECORD COLLECTOR AT £90 - IN VIEW OF ITS VG+ CONDITION WE HAVE A LOWER STARTING POINT AND NO RESERVE - THIS IS  AN OPPORTUNITY FOR FANS OF 1960s BLUES AND R&B TO FILL AN IMPORTANT HOLE IN THEIR COLLECTION  !
