Description
This 7" record is at 33 1/3 rpm
(Note: I had to end the original auction of this as I had incorrectly listed it as a 45 record & ebay blocked any corrective changes from being made to the auction while it was live)
The disc is six minutes in duration & features a very enthusiastic spokesperson touting this new invention.
He also introduces one by one, the various, never heard before from a guitar, sounds that can be created with the FUZZ-TONE.\
Is this the very 1st fuzztone record? That is, barring a busted amplifier or two...
I've listed this in "Rock: Garage, 60's" because that is where "FUZZ" found its' home. But, as you can see (and hear if you win this auction) that is not really where GIBSON ELECTRONICS aimed their new product. You can especially get a taste of what became its prominent use on several of the sound samples on this record, including sample #4 FUZZ-TONE Sound- Blues.
Thanks to the Rolling Stones & Keith Richards' use of the Maestro Fuzz-tone on " (I Can't Get No) Satisfaction" Fuzz, Acid & Flowers came into being...
