Description
A rare chance to buy an Original Pressing of this iconic Beatles double album, as it celebrates its 50th anniversary of first release of 22/11/1968. Its Original Pressing status is confirmed by (i) embossed lettering and serial number below, on the front cover, (ii) "sold in the UK etc" in the upper part of the record label and (iii) the record openings being at the top of the gatefold cover.The gatefold cover is is in remarkable condition for an item of its age.The original poster and 4 photos, all in perfect condition, are included. Matrix numbers are YEX 709-1, YEX 710-1, YEX 711-2 and YEX 712-1? There are a few minor blemishes on the surfaces of all 4 sides, which should not affect the sound quality. There is a 1 inch split in the side seam of one of the inner sleeves. The mark on the side seam of the front cover, is exaggerated by the magnification of the close up photo. It is in fact only 1/2 an inch in length..
