Wow - What can I say? - One of my favourite genres - Indian R'n'R - This wouldn't look out of place as a current day release. Check out that brillliant cover art - you know you're in for a treat!   
Obviously inspired by the way Rock & Roll was infiltrating the USA cinema screens, here we have Bollywoods take on this (then) new style of music. These kind of attempts to imitate something you don't quite understand alway seem to end up with interesting results & this is no exception.  Any LP with 'Jan Pahechan Ho' on gets a thumbs up from me. This came full circle by being strikingly used in 'Ghostworld' all those years ago - It still brings a smile to my face and also did to many others when I used to play this out (usually followed by an enquiry from a Ghostworld fan as to what this track was.) You used to be able squirrel things away back then - Now an App would source this in seconds - I also have the Original Soundtrack that 'Jan Pahechan Ho' came from (GumNaam) for sale - please check my other listings- thanks!
